What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health Technician ABA position at Essential ABA Consulting?
As a Part-Time Behavior Technician, you will work directly with a preschool-aged child with autism in their home. Your primary responsibility will be to implement individualized ABA therapy sessions under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will play a crucial role in helping the child develop essential life skills and reach their goals.
Responsibilities:
- Implement ABA therapy programs as outlined by the BCBA.
- Provide one-on-one support to the child during therapy sessions.
- Collect and record data on the child’s progress.
- Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistency in treatment.
- Communicate effectively with the child’s family to provide updates and support.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with autism preferred
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability after school hours from 4-7, Tuesday to Friday
- Reliable transportation to travel to the child’s home.
