Job Description
JOB SUMMARYReporting to the market Executive Director, the Program Manager of Grateful Patients and Major Giving is responsible for managing a portfolio with the purpose to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward potential and existing major gift donors of the Essentia Health Foundation on the local level. Use effective, diplomatic, interpersonal communication skills to build rapport with potential and active donors and handle all confidential prospect and donor information with tact. They will also work with our Foundation leadership team to plan and operationalize a systemwide Grateful Patient Program. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES 1.Manage and optimize a major gift portfolio of corporate and individual prospects of 50 to 60.2.Responsible for developing relationship strategies for effective donor engagement and stewardship of constituents in donor portfolio.3.Be a key outward facing liaison for the Grateful Patient Program4.Work closely with Development leadership team to plan and manage grateful patient program. Serve as the project manager on the implementation and coordination of the daily operations of the grateful patient fundraising program. 5.Work closely with Major Gift and Research team, and other colleagues to foster the success of the Grateful Patient Program. 6.Collaborate with care service team, including key Physicians, to identify, connect with and eventually move grateful patients to a major gift.7.Prepare and deliver presentations, speeches, and reports as needed to a variety of audiences to increase awareness of the Grateful Patient Program. 8.Coordinate and communicate the training and educational initiatives of the Grateful Patient Program across the system. 9.Monitor, track, and report on donor relationship progress with metrics as compared to agreed upon goals.10.Partner with leadership to expand legacy and planned giving.11.Keep track of local foundation budget ensuring minimize expenses while maximizing return while aligning with foundation strategy. 12.Work in collaboration with research and service team to support any necessary data lists, proposals, assets, events, or marketing materials to support Foundation plan.13.Maintain and expand learning to sustain a solid understanding of fundraising best practice and foundation needs to inform and optimize fundraising plan.14.Oversees regional development plans, in coordination with services team, support local events and programs designed to expand constituent participation and encourage major giving.15.Ability to present, plan, and update your results of fundraising to leadership.16.Other duties as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 1.Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or related field or equivalent years of related professional experience.2.Work Experience: Minimum of two years of fundraising or sales experience.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 1.Experience with donor relationship management strategies. For example, through CRM (Client Relationship Management) software such as Raisers Edge or Sales Force.
Education Qualifications
Baccalaureate Degree in business, communications, public relations, organization management, or related field.

- Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license as verified through appropriate licensing agency
- Must meet the driving requirements and criteria acceptable to Essentia Health 's insurer
- Proof of current motor vehicle insurance, including minimum State limits and without business exclusion
