Hospitalist – Float Pool

System Wide

Essentia Health is seeking exceptional hospitalists to join our System-Wide Float Pool. This hospitalist will primarily travel the North Country, providing needed care “Close to Home!”

PRACTICE SPECIFICS

• Ideal candidates should be flexible team players, willing to address complex issues in hospital medicine within a collaborative environment.
• Join a team of nearly 100 hospitalists, including physicians and NP/PAs.
• Enjoy great flexibility with a 1.0 FTE equating to 168 shifts, typically following a 7/7 schedule for 24 weeks per year.
• Mileage/rental car and lodging (if desired) are reimbursed for travel from Primary Location.
• Procedures are not required.
• Utilize Epic Electronic Medical Record throughout the entire Essentia system.
• Short-term, vent management (up to 24 hours) is required in Virginia. Additional training supplied if necessary.
• Dedicated nocturnist teams.

• 140-bed multi-specialty hospital with acute dialysis, medical-surgical, psychiatry, and outpatient surgery units.

Compensation

• $400,318 - $440,751. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives, or production-based compensation.
