Job Description
Performs clinical cardiopulmonary bypass during cardiac surgery, hypothermic re-warming, intraperitoneal hyperthermia, PRP, plasma pheresis, and extracorporeal circulation during LVAD/RVAD procedures on patients adolescent through elderly. In addition to these duties, this position stands by for off pump cardiac procedures.
Education Qualifications
Current certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusionists.
OR
Bachelor’s degree and graduate of an accredited cardiopulmonary perfusion training program and ability to obtain certification within 3 years.
