About the Role
We are looking for an exceptional storyteller. Someone who can transform data and insight into a coherent, compelling and creative narrative for our clients, putting communications at the heart of the solution to their marketing challenges. A passion for marketing, communications, and creativity in media is of course a must. But a real ability to synthesize information and turn it into something which resonates with our clients, and helps them to engage their users, is going to be the thing that makes you stand out.
You will have two main areas of responsibility:
Strategy Leadership
You will be tasked with leading Comms Strategy projects from beginning to end. You’ll be working with the other practice areas (Media Planning, Analytics, Social, Creative) to pressure test the strategy, and make sure it unlocks competitive advantage for the client’s business and inspires ideas.
In addition you’ll be responsible for educating the rest of the business on what the value of comms strategy is, and how to talk to clients about it, positioning us as trusted advisors to our clients and excellent partners in delivering a holistic comms plan.

Client Relationship
You will join the Media Futures Group as an expert client partner and be able to tailor your communications to have impact. You will be tasked with devising, defining, presenting and executing integrated comms strategies for our clients. You are an active listener, understanding the clients’ challenges and perspectives. You are a proactive thinker that helps our clients navigate the dynamic and fast changing media landscape, culture and consumer behaviors.
Some of the things we’d like you to do:
- Lead comms strategy development, identify & sell through opportunities for innovation and improvement
- Work collaboratively with other discipline teams at Media Futures Group to pull strategy through the media plan and ideas
- Lead and collaborate with external partners including creative, social agencies
- Our clients are typically strategic, smart, results driven, commercial – you’ll need to be the same.
- Contribute to thought leadership programs

- You are a storyteller at heart
- Extensive and wide ranging experience in the creative, media and/or marketing industries
- A proven track record in defining and leading media and comms strategy for large international campaigns
- Experience across North American market
- Exceptional presentation skills, with experience of presenting strategy and securing buy-in at the highest level
- Passionate about data, innovation, and well versed on the latest industry trends and news
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and deliver results
- Excellent interpersonal skills

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $100,000 to $230,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
