We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, air brakes, suspension components, and electrical systems using schematics and diagnostic tools.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, shocks & struts replacements, and equipment inspections to prevent breakdowns.
- Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, tractors, and other industrial machinery safely and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues on farm machinery, heavy trucks, industrial equipment, and vehicle systems for truck drivers or fleet operators.
- Use power tools and automotive diagnostics equipment to identify issues accurately and perform repairs promptly.
- Maintain detailed service records, follow safety protocols diligently, and ensure all repairs meet industry standards.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience with heavy equipment or vehicle repair is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems.
- Skilled in reading schematics and technical manuals for precise troubleshooting.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts AND tractors-trailers safely under various conditions.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members.
- Capable of heavy lifting and performing physically demanding tasks in a safe manner.
