to oversee and expand volunteer engagement initiatives across our healthcare network. This role
will focus on recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, and supporting volunteers who contribute to
patient experience, community outreach programs, wellness initiatives, and healthcare support
services throughout the Bronx and surrounding NYC communities.

Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, interview, and onboard volunteers for clinical and non-clinical initiatives
- Coordinate volunteer schedules across departments, events, and outreach programs
- Maintain volunteer records, documentation, attendance, and compliance requirements
- Conduct volunteer orientations and ongoing training sessions
- Serve as the primary point of contact for volunteers and community partnerships
- Collaborate with leadership, providers, operations teams, and HR to identify volunteer
- Assist with organizing health fairs, community events, wellness campaigns, and outreach
- Track volunteer engagement metrics, participation, and program effectiveness
- Ensure all volunteers follow HIPAA, confidentiality, and organizational policies
- Support NYReach, IMG pathways, mentorship programs, and community engagement
- Develop strategies to improve volunteer retention and satisfaction
- Create presentations, flyers, and communications related to volunteer initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Healthcare Administration, Human Resources,
- 2 years of experience in volunteer coordination, healthcare administration, recruiting,
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Experience coordinating multiple schedules and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling systems
- Experience with healthcare or nonprofit environments preferred
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
