Essen Health Care is seeking a DEXA Radiology Technologist (Per Diem) to join our imaging team. This role is responsible for performing bone density scans (DEXA) and ensuring accurate, high-quality imaging to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
This is an excellent opportunity for new graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in a supportive clinical environment.

Essen Health Care is seeking a DEXA Radiology Technologist (Per Diem) to join our imaging team. This role is responsible for performing bone density scans (DEXA) and ensuring accurate, high-quality imaging to support diagnosis and treatment planning.

- Perform DEXA (bone density) scans in accordance with established protocols
- Ensure proper patient positioning and safety during procedures
- Educate patients on exam procedures and address questions/concerns
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Follow all radiation safety and infection control protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure timely and accurate results
- Maintain and troubleshoot DEXA equipment as needed
- ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (required)
- NY State Radiologic Technologist license (or eligible)
- New graduates welcome to apply
- Experience with DEXA or general radiology preferred, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently in a per diem capacity
