Esse Health is currently seeking full-time Medical Assistants for our Fenton Family Medicine office! We are willing to train CNA's, PCT's, EMT's and those who have previous clinical healthcare experience. In this role, you will perform back office functions such as assisting in examination and treatment of patients, interviewing patients, measuring vital signs such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and recording information in the patients chart or EMR. This position is highly visible in their interactions with patients and must therefore project a positive office image at all times including smiling, greeting patients with enthusiasm, and maintaining an upbeat, positive attitude in all interactions with patients and coworkers.
The rate of pay for this position will be $17.50 - $18.00/hour.
Preferred Qualifications: Formal training which will probably be indicated by a High School Diploma, PC/Windows proficiency, willingness to assign high priority to patient comfort and satisfaction, ability to communicate effectively and to work compatibly with physicians, coworkers, and employees in other departments.
