Enriched Schools works with various campuses across the Nashville area.
What types of roles are available?
This position has both long term and short/daily roles available. Applicants interested in long term roles will need to be available to work 5 days a week. Roles are 8 hours a day.
What are the qualifications?
- A high school diploma or GED
- 2 years of teaching experience in a traditional classroom setting is preferred (resumes that display experience working with youth may be considered)
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
What qualities are you looking for in a Substitute Teacher?
- Display flexibility and adaptability in the school setting- jumping in to help in classrooms, with students and staff, front office, etc.
- Maintain strong classroom management to keep students learning and engaged
- Build relationships with students
- Show up with a positive and professional attitude
- Effectively deliver lesson plans to drive student learning with strong pacing and urgency, differentiation, and high levels of student engagement
Compensation
Pay is competitive at $23 per hour. Salaries for Substitute Teachers in long term roles will be determined depending on the role offered.
Substitute Teachers are W-2 employees with benefits available.
