Professional Unarmed Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Professional Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position involves monitoring premises, enforcing rules, and responding to incidents effectively. A strong commitment to safety and security is essential.

Duties

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Operate and maintain CCTV systems to oversee activities within the premises.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential security risks.
• Enforce facility rules and regulations while providing excellent customer service.
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and any unusual occurrences.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
• Assist in conflict management situations to De-Escalate tensions effectively.
• Provide First Aid, CPR, AED, Narcan & or Stop the Bleeding assistance as needed during emergencies.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating CCTV systems and surveillance equipment.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
• Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively.
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to minimize theft or damage.
• Background in law enforcement or military service is a plus.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse groups of people.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address security challenges proactively.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
