Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and vigilant Professional Armed Security Officer to join our dynamic security team. OVER NIGHTS @ 2100-0500 & 2300-0700
Duties
- Monitor premises using CCTV systems and conduct regular surveillance to detect suspicious activity or security breaches
- Perform armed patrols of designated areas to deter theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access
- Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, or alarms with appropriate conflict management techniques
- Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and employees while maintaining strict access control procedures
- Conduct thorough inspections of personnel and property to prevent loss prevention issues
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies as needed
- Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records accurately and promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service or related fields with a focus on armed security operations
- Valid certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications such as CCTV operation or surveillance training are a plus
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and CCTV monitoring systems
- Ability to perform physical duties including standing, walking, and patrolling for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and the public
- Must possess a valid armed security license as required by local regulations
