This is a Part Time/Per-Diem Position.
Friday & or Saturday Nights. Hours are, 9pm-230am
Duties
- Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, or breaches of protocol, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct thorough inspections of individuals entering the facility, verifying identification and ensuring compliance with security policies.
- Manage access control points for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors to prevent unauthorized entry.
- Utilize conflict management techniques to de-escalate tense situations while maintaining professionalism and safety.
- Perform loss prevention activities by monitoring for theft or suspicious activity and documenting incidents accurately.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incident reports, shift handovers, and CCTV surveillance records.
Skills
- Proven experience in security operations, law enforcement, military service, or related fields with a focus on safety and protection.
- Excellent conflict management abilities combined with calm decision-making under pressure.
- First aid certification along with CPR training to respond effectively during medical emergencies.
- Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and security best practices.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations discreetly while enforcing rules firmly but fairly.
