ESS Clinical is seeking a compassionate, collaborative, and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team in partnership with Cherokee County School District for the 2026–2027 school year.

PAY $70/hr W2 Contract and $79/hr 1099 Contract
Position Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for special education services.
- Interpret assessment data and prepare written evaluation reports.
- Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP meetings, manifestation determinations, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, counselors, related service providers, and families to develop effective interventions.
- Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, emotional, and mental health concerns.
- Assist in developing behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and functional behavior assessments (FBAs).
- Support crisis prevention and intervention efforts when needed.
- Monitor student progress and provide recommendations for educational programming.
- Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and district regulations.
- Promote positive learning environments that support student achievement and well-being.
Required Certifications & Licensure
Applicants must possess or be eligible to obtain:
- Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) School Psychologist Certificate
- Master's, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Successful completion of all required criminal background checks and fingerprinting
- Compliance with Cherokee County School District onboarding requirements
