Looking for a small amount of consistent work to fit around your regular job, school, family schedule, or other commitments? ESS Clean, Inc. is hiring Part-Time Cleaners for two locations in Decatur, Illinois!
Current Openings
- Monday–Friday: Approximately 1 hour per evening, starting after 5:30 PM — about 5 hours per week
- Tuesday & Thursday: Approximately 1.25 hours per evening, starting after 5:00 PM — about 2.5 hours per week
These positions are a good fit for someone who wants dependable extra hours without committing to long shifts or giving up their entire evening.
What You’ll Do
Your exact responsibilities will depend on your assigned location, but typical assignments include tasks like:
- Cleaning restrooms, offices, common areas, and other assigned spaces
- Empting trash and replacing liners
- Dusting and wiping down surfaces; disinfecting high-touch areas
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Restocking paper products and other supplies
- Following site-specific cleaning and safety procedures
- Completing assigned cleaning responsibilities within your scheduled time
- Communicating with supervisors or clients when something needs attention
What We’re Looking For
Professional cleaning experience is helpful, but it isn't required -- we'll train you! We're looking for people who:
- Can reliably work a predictable schedule week-to-week
- Are dependable and comfortable working independently
- Can manage their time and stay on task
- Pay attention to details and take pride in their work
- Can follow site-specific procedures and expectations
- Communicate when they have a question or need assistance
