Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Commerce, TX. The Machinist will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring that all parts meet precise specifications. Additional responsibilities include conducting quality checks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and collaborating with team members to optimize workflow and efficiency. This role requires adherence to strict safety protocols and standards.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in CNC machine operation, maintenance, and programming
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Ability to perform precision measurements using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Knowledge of tooling setup and proper selection for various materials
- Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve equipment or production-related issues
- Proficiency with quality control processes and maintaining high standards for finished products
- Familiarity with safety and compliance regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in machining is preferred
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or machining environment is a plus
