Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, providing recommendations when appropriate to enhance guest experience
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Ensure food safety and proper handling procedures are followed at all times during service
- Assist with food preparation, setup, and cleanup for various dining occasions including banquets and catering events
- Maintain a clean, organized front-of-house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders and address any guest needs promptly
- Handle dietary restrictions or special requests with professionalism and care to accommodate all guests’ needs
Qualifications
- Prior experience in fine dining or food industry roles is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Experience serving in restaurants, catering, or banquet settings is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and basic food preparation techniques
- Barista experience or familiarity with beverage preparation is a plus
- Previous hospitality or restaurant experience demonstrating reliability and professionalism
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor that fosters guest satisfaction
