Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience recruiting for technical/engineering positions in industrial settings and be comfortable managing multiple requisitions in a fast-paced, project-driven environment. Strong coordination skills, compliance awareness, and the ability to partner closely with hiring managers are key.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
- Minimum 2 years of engineering recruiting experience
- Direct experience recruiting for engineering or technical roles required
- Experience supporting industrial environments such as process, chemical, power, or similar
- Excellent people skills including collaboration, communication, presentation, and team building skills
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of employment laws/compliance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Associates or Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Bilingual – Fluent in Spanish and English is a plus
- PHR or SHRM-CP
- Source, screen, and conduct initial interviews for candidates
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and support candidate selection
- Manage assigned requisitions end-to-end, including review, edits, and approvals
- Build and update job descriptions based on project scope and needs
- Track and report recruiting activity using internal systems and Microsoft Office tools
- Support onboarding processes (background checks, drug screens, I-9, E-Verify, employment documentation)
- Lead redeployment efforts for existing workforce nearing project completion
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment regulations
- Deliver a high level of customer service to internal stakeholders and candidates
- Work will be in a general office environment with occasional work in an industrial location.
- Employee will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting and lifting.
