Your role will involve:
What You'll Do:
- Responsible for all financial transactions (A/R, A/P, Payroll, General Ledger, Project Accounting)
- Preparing timely monthly financial statements
- Providing financial leadership to support budgeting, costing, and financial performance
- Sales and Use and local taxation compliance
- Providing reports and analysis to support the consolidation function with the Canadian head office
- Basic treasury management
- Preparing for and managing the annual audit
- Supervise a staff of two; Accounting Assistant & Accounting Clerk
- Degree in Accounting or a related field
- 10 years experience in Accounting
- CPA Designation is preferred, but not required
- Experience in management and financial accounting
- Strong critical thinking and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Driven and ambitious personality
- Experience with Infor CSI is a plus
- Inventory experience a plus
