Project Assistant
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Position Type: Contract-to-Hire
** This position will require individuals to spend 2-3 days in the Fort Worth Office and the other days in the Dallas, TX office **
ESPO is seeking a detail-oriented Project Assistant to support engineering and construction projects for a client in Fort Worth, TX. This role provides essential administrative and project coordination support to Project Managers and project teams, helping ensure projects stay organized, documented, and moving forward efficiently. Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support for engineering and construction projects
- Organize and maintain project files, documentation, and project communications
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain project tracking systems
- Track project status and assist with monthly progress reporting
- Update record drawings, engineering documentation, and project changes
- Prepare research materials and information to support project inquiries
- Record and distribute meeting minutes for the Project Manager and the project team meetings
- Answer phones, direct calls, and manage incoming and outgoing mail
- Collect, distribute, and track client bills and invoices
- Prepare memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents as requested
- Coordinate travel arrangements and internal services for project needs
- Schedule and support meetings, interviews, presentations, and conference room logistics (including setup and cleanup)
- Order and maintain office and project supplies
- Maintain and update project calendars, rosters, contact lists, and execution plans
- Provide general clerical support across multiple projects
- Education & Experience (one of the following required):
- High School Diploma with 3 years of relevant experience
- Associate’s Degree with 2 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s Degree with some relevant experience
- Prior office or clerical experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency with standard office software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
