We are seeking a dedicated, friendly, and reliable periodontal assistant to join our growing dental practice. As a periodontal assistant, you will support our periodontist in providing excellent patient care, assisting with surgical and non-surgical periodontal procedures, and ensuring patients feel comfortable and informed during their visit.
Responsibilities:
• Assist the periodontist with periodontal surgeries, implant placement, and maintenance procedures.
• Take and process digital X-rays and intraoral photos.
• Maintain a clean, organized operatory and sterilization area.
• Review medical histories and prepare patients for treatment.
• Provide post-op instructions and patient education.
• Document treatments accurately in patient charts.
• Help with inventory and ordering of supplies as needed.
Requirements:
• Dental assisting experience (periodontal or surgical assisting preferred but willing to train the right candidate).
• Active CPR certification.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• A caring, team-oriented attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
