Duties
- Engage in proactive outside sales activities to identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories.
- Conduct comprehensive product demonstrations and technical sales presentations to educate clients about our offerings.
- Develop and implement strategic territory management plans to maximize coverage and sales effectiveness.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, marketing campaigns, and leveraging CRM software such as Salesforce.
- Manage existing accounts through consistent follow-up, upselling, cross-selling, and delivering excellent customer service to foster loyalty.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to close deals that meet both customer needs and company objectives.
- Utilize analysis skills to assess market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape for targeted business development.
- Coordinate with internal teams on marketing initiatives and product launches to support sales efforts.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using CRM tools.
- Provide timely feedback from clients to inform product development, marketing strategies, and service improvements.
Experience
- Proven track record in outside sales or B2B sales roles with demonstrated success in territory management and account development.
- Experience in technical or technology sales is highly desirable, along with familiarity with CRM software like Salesforce.
- Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent customer service abilities to build trust and close deals effectively.
- Ability to conduct engaging product demos and presentations tailored to diverse client needs.
- Skilled in lead generation techniques including cold calling, direct sales approaches, and leveraging marketing campaigns.
