About Us: Esperanza is a therapeutic day school and adult vocational and residential program serving students and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). We are seeking an experienced Google Workspace Administrator (Contract-to-Permanent) to provide strategic and technical guidance for our organization’s technology environment.
Role Overview: This contract-to-permanent role is ideal for someone who can consult on Google Workspace architecture, configure domains and email systems, and support staff adoption and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and optimize Google Workspace, including primary and secondary domains.
- Configure and manage email routing, aliases, groups, and organizational units
- Provide guidance on coexistence strategies for users on other platforms
- Train and support staff to maximize adoption of Google Workspace tools (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Classroom)
- Advise on security, compliance, and reporting best practices
- Collaborate on integrations with other systems and tools
Core Skills / Qualifications:
- Proven experience administering Google Workspace for multiple domains
- Experience with Google Workspace for Education, including Classroom and Drive sharing permissions
- Strong understanding of user and group management, organizational units, and access controls
- Familiarity with email routing, aliases, and advanced Gmail configuration
- Knowledge of security and compliance settings (2FA, SSO, DLP, admin audit controls)
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and staff-training skills
- Google Workspace Administrator Certification
