Especially for Children in Coon Rapids is looking for a teacher-qualified Infant Teacher to join our team for a closing shift role. Our center is NAEYC accredited and Parent Aware rated, and we are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where infants can grow and thrive. As a locally owned program serving families since 1976, EFC emphasizes strong relationships, high-quality care, and meaningful early learning experiences.
We follow The Creative Curriculum, a play-based approach that encourages exploration, discovery, and individualized learning. Our teachers work together to create a supportive, collaborative atmosphere that benefits both children and staff.
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Relates positively and patiently with infants, families, and coworkers
- Has previous Early Childhood Education, childcare, or teaching experience
- Holds a CDA and/or college credits in Early Childhood Education or a related field (required to be teacher-qualified)
- Is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and developmentally rich classroom
- Can plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and a consistent daily schedule
- Works cooperatively and communicates effectively with the teaching team
