We are currently hiring a Programmer II. We offer an awesome benefits package, clean environment, and opportunities for advancement!

Hours: 6:00am-4:30pm Mon-Thu with some overtime required on Fridays.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Produces and creates CNC programs according to run lists, work orders, and specifications on Engineering prints.
  • Processes custom content.
  • Troubleshoots programs, machines and software.
  • Implements a wide range of programming software.
  • Writes scripts and creates programming processes.
  • Formulates macros in Microsoft Excel.
  • Manages incoming programming jobs, ECNs, and work orders to ensure delivery to internal customers on time.
  • Updates Manager and Sheet Metal Group Leader on assigned jobs.
  • Maintains program files and associated files as necessary.
  • Possesses knowledge of all Sheet Metal machines and programs such as Brake Press, Turret, Panel Bender, Laser, and Shear.
  • Updates and communicates issues daily.
  • Receives training/experience to become proficient in processing custom work content and communicating Engineering design issues.
  • Uses Vernier calipers on occasion.
  • Cooperates with others to improve productivity and quality.
  • Keeps work area clean and free of debris.
  • Regular physical attendance is required.
  • Performs other routine duties as assigned.

Education

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

Skills And Experience

  • 3 years of experience with CNC programming required.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide required.
  • Must be able to perform fractional and decimal equivalents, basic geometry and algebra.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and interpret blueprints required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office including (Excel, Word, Email), required.
  • Automation systems programming and software knowledge preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of or the ability to learn robotics and artificial intelligence preferred.
