We are currently hiring a Sheet Metal Helper for our Sheet Metal Department. We offer an awesome benefits package, a 4-day work week with some overtime on Friday, no mandatory weekend work, clean environment, and opportunities for advancement!
Hours: 6:00am-4:30pm M-TH, some Friday OT, as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Mounts and wires assemblies.
· Calculates box and conduit fill.
· Utilizes standard work instructions to complete assemblies.
· Understands ladder schematics and builds according to prints.
· Understands part numbers, locations, and descriptions.
· Daily use of hand tools such as drills, wrenches, screwdrivers, and knives.
· Frequently reads a tape measure.
· Cuts wire, runs seal tight.
· May perform brazing duties, only after on-site training has been provided.
· Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
· Regular physical attendance is required.
· Understands and abides by the Guiding Principles.
· Performs other duties as assigned.

Education
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Skills and Experience
· Computer skills, including the use of tablet, required.
· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide required.
· Ability to read a tape measure required.
· Ability to use small hand tools and power tools required.
· Experience with electrical wiring required.
· Ability to read electrical schematics required.
· Ability to build using electrical, plumbing, & fabrication drawings, required.
· 1 year of experience with industrial manufacturing preferred.
