Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards for fine dining experiences
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Manage table settings, clear dishes, and assist with bussing to maintain cleanliness and efficiency throughout service
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs promptly, answering questions about menu items, and fostering positive guest relations

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, including serving or host/hostess roles
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is advantageous for understanding food preparation processes
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining genuine guest engagement
• Experience working in fine dining or nightclub settings is preferred but not required
• Strong communication skills coupled with a friendly attitude to enhance guest experiences
