Autodesk CAD Drafter Position
Description:
Create, modify, and optimize detailed AutoCAD drawings in alignment with project specifications.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to clarify requirements and deliver accurate technical drawings.
Interpret mechanical and engineering sketches, notes, and technical specifications to produce precise CAD outputs.
Maintain organized file structures and version control to ensure documentation accuracy.
Identify and resolve design conflicts in timely manner.
Participate in project reviews and office teams meeting input.
Prepare and maintain documentation with clear and professional written communication.
Required Skill and Qualifications:
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor rel. 2020 or better with demonstrated experience in complex drafting projects.
Proficiency with AutoCAD 2D drawings, BOM, Schematic, Dimensions and Self peer checking.
Proficiency with Inventor 3D modeling parts dimensioning, 3D assembling and ability to use STEP/SAT files.
Strong understanding of ASME Y14.5 industry standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines independently.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant certification or associate degree in CAD design or 3-5 years’ work experience.
Experience with CAD and 3D modeling software.
Experience with ASME Y14.5 Drafting Technology...Bluebeam will be a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, Teams, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Calendar
Pleasant, confident, and professional demeanor when working with colleagues and clients
