Manufacturing Purchasing Coordinator

Must-Haves:

• 5 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of metal materials and manufacturing components
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor relationship skills
• Solid understanding of sourcing from both domestic and international supplier
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level)

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Coordinate with engineering, operations, and quality teams to align material needs
• Negotiate vendor contracts and maintain supply agreements
• Identify and vet new suppliers while maintaining relationships with existing partners
• Track and report on purchasing metrics, vendor performance, and cost-saving opportunities
• Develop strategies to improve lead times and reduce overall material costs
• Collaborate on process improvement initiatives around procurement

Bonus Points:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
• CPIM or CPM certifications
• Experience with Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) or consignment models
