Software Test Automation Engineer (SDET)
12 Months Contract -Extension
Location: Onsite Vienna, VA / Edison, NJ
Staff Software Engineer Test Automation
We are seeking an experienced Staff Software Engineer to lead the design and development of scalable test automation frameworks and strategies.
This role involves driving automation excellence across web, mobile, API, and backend systems, integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring product quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks.
- Define test automation strategies for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Mentor and lead test automation engineers.
- Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines.
- Track quality metrics and optimize test coverage.
Qualifications:
- 11 years in software development and test automation.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or C#.
- Hands-on with Selenium, Appium, TestNG/JUnit, Cypress, etc.
- Strong CI/CD, cloud (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform), and containerization experience.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred:
AI/ML-based testing, microservices/API testing, certifications.
