Job description:
- We are seeking an experienced SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) with strong expertise in Microsoft technologies to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and quality engineering solutions for enterprise applications.
- The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automation testing, .NET technologies, API testing, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based testing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web, API, desktop, and cloud applications.
- Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks using C#, .NET, and Selenium.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing.
- Develop and execute API automation using tools such as Postman, RestSharp, or SpecFlow.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
- Work with SQL Server for backend validation, data verification, and database testing.
- Identify, log, track, and verify software defects using Azure DevOps or JIRA.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Ensure software quality standards, testing best practices, and coding standards are followed.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for test execution in cloud and containerized environments.
- Prepare test plans, test cases, and testing documentation.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver with C#.
- Hands-on experience with .NET Framework / .NET Core and Visual Studio.
- Experience with API testing and automation tools such as Postman, RestSharp, or SoapUI.
- Proficiency in SQL Server and database testing.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with test frameworks such as NUnit, MSTest, or xUnit.
- Understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
- Experience in performance or load testing tools is a plus.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
