Job Description
We are seeking entry-level automotive professionals to join our support team in a office-based role. This position is ideal for individuals with basic mechanical knowledge and strong communication skills who are looking to transition from hands-on shop work to a technical support environment.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to initial inquiries from dealership technicians regarding vehicle software and hardware concerns
- Log and document issues accurately using internal systems (GTAC)
- Escalate unresolved or complex issues to Level 2/3 support teams
- Follow predefined troubleshooting scripts and workflows
- Communicate via phone, email, and ticketing systems to ensure timely updates
- Ensure compliance with company policies and service-level expectations
- Assist in tracking open requests and ensuring proper closure or escalation
- Learn and apply basic knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostic tools, and software platforms
- Maintain records of common issues and resolutions for future reference
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic understanding of automotive systems (12V circuits, CAN preferred but not required)
- 0–2 years of experience in automotive service or technical support
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with computers, ticketing systems, and remote support tools
- Willingness to learn and grow within a structured support environment
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
