Risk Management Consultant / Manager Hourly rate: $28 - $45 Location: Cherry Hill, New Jersey Overview: The Risk Management Consultant/Manager will provide expert consulting services to identify, analyze, and manage the Township's insurable property and casualty risks. They will serve as a liaison with insurance funds, provide risk reduction strategies, and assist with claims and budget preparation. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary risk management consultant for the Township, identifying insurable exposures and recommending risk mitigation strategies. Have superior knowledge of property and casualty insurance coverages, especially within the Camden County Municipal Joint Insurance Fund (JIF) structure. Assist the Township in selecting available insurance coverages and placing any additional required coverage outside of the Fund, with proper authorization. Prepare and review insurance applications, statements of value, and supporting documentation required by the Fund. Review fund assessments and assist the Township in preparing annual insurance budgets. Support safety and loss control efforts by reviewing claims and loss reports and attending related committee meetings. Facilitate quarterly claims review meetings and coordinate with all relevant parties. Provide professional advice on risk and insurance matters and assist with claims resolution as needed (excluding public adjuster functions). Ensure strict compliance with all legal, contractual, and insurance regulatory requirements. Maintain all required licensure and certifications as a licensed property-casualty insurance agent or broker in New Jersey. Submit monthly loss run reports and other periodic reports to the Township Risk Manager. Qualifications: Licensed Property-Casualty Insurance Producer/Broker licensed in New Jersey. Demonstrated experience managing public insurance risks for municipal or public sector clients. Familiarity with Camden County Municipal Joint Insurance Fund operations and documentation requirements. Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with Township officials, insurance fund representatives, and other stakeholders
