Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Travel Advisor role based in the Greater Chicago Area. The Travel Advisor will consult with clients to understand their preferences, budgets, and travel goals, then design tailored itineraries and travel packages. Daily tasks include researching destinations, coordinating flights, accommodations, transfers, and activities, and securing competitive rates through preferred partners. The role involves managing bookings, processing payments, resolving itinerary changes, and providing proactive support before, during, and after travel. The Travel Advisor will also help first-time travelers and low-income families navigate the travel process, ensuring a positive, inclusive, and stress-free experience.

Qualifications
- Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with a focus on understanding diverse traveler needs.
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, to clearly explain options, policies, and itineraries.
- Proficiency in Travel Arrangements, including booking flights, hotels, ground transportation, and activities using travel platforms or GDS tools.
- Experience or familiarity with a Travel Agency environment, including vendor relationships and travel industry best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple bookings simultaneously, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Comfort working with travelers from varied backgrounds, including first-time travelers and budget-conscious clients.
- Basic proficiency in common office and CRM software; experience with travel booking systems is a plus.
- Previous experience in travel, hospitality, or customer-focused roles preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., travel or tourism) are an advantage.
