Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable and experienced Dump Truck Drivers to join our team for immediate hire. As a Dump Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting materials to and from construction sites and ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of equipment and materials. This is a full-time position based in St. Louis and Carlton County, MN.
Duties:
- Safely operate and drive various types of dump trucks to transport/deliver materials
- Load and unload materials using equipment such as loaders, excavators, skid steers, etc.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip, reporting any maintenance or repair needs
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Adhere to company policies and procedures for safe transportation of goods
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members
- Perform basic maintenance tasks on vehicles as needed
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Dump Truck Driver or similar role - Manual transmission endorsement
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as dump trucks, loaders, excavators, skid steers, etc.
- Excellent driving skills with the ability to navigate various road conditions
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic
We offer competitive pay rates for our employees. Base pay for non-prevailing wage work is $30.00. Prevailing wage jobs are paid at the prevailing wage and hours required for that specific job.
