The Human Resources Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting ESI Motion’s growth by leading recruiting efforts, strengthening employee engagement, and partnering closely with managers and employees across the organization. This individual will establish trusted relationships, deliver an exceptional candidate and employee experience, and assist in the execution of talent acquisition, recruiting, and engagement strategies that support both current and future workforce needs.


This role combines hands-on recruiting with HR coordination and culture-building initiatives in a fast-paced, high-technology manufacturing environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Build strong partnerships with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, technical requirements, and long-term workforce planning goals.
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for open positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer coordination, and onboarding support.
  • Source candidates through multiple channels, including online job boards, professional networks, social media platforms, and passive candidate outreach.
  • Guide hiring managers and interview teams on best practices such as structured interviewing, candidate evaluation techniques, and fair hiring standards aligned with ESI Motion’s values.
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of the interview process, including scheduling, assessments, screening calls, interview feedback, and candidate communication.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with past applicants and prospective talent to build a sustainable talent pipeline.
  • Support the development and refinement of job descriptions and interview questions aligned with departmental needs and organizational priorities.
  • Identify recruiting trends, process improvements, and opportunities to attract and retain top talent in a competitive technical labor market.
  • Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs, milestone celebrations, monthly events, company-wide meetings, and internal communications.
  • Support the planning and execution of onboarding and new hire orientation programs to ensure a positive and engaging transition into the organization.
  • Partner with leadership to strengthen employee connection, communication, and alignment with company values.
  • Oversee internal communications such as newsletters, announcements, and engagement activities that promote transparency and culture.
  • Process employment paperwork, background screenings, and other pre-employment activities in compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, organizational charts, and HRIS data.
  • Assist with headcount forecasting, workload analysis, and labor distribution reporting as needed.
  • Support facility-related HR coordination and general HR initiatives as assigned.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and consistently demonstrate ethical HR practices.


Skills/Qualifications:

  • Strong background in talent acquisition, recruiting, and pipeline development, including sourcing passive candidates.
  • Proven experience managing full-cycle recruiting with multiple interview methods and assessment tools.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, and resume databases.
  • Experience recruiting technical, engineering, aerospace, defense, or manufacturing talent strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of state and federal employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to build effective cross-functional relationships.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).


Required Education/Experience:

  • 3 years recent human resources experience within an Aerospace, Defense or Space Environment.


Preferred Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Salary : $55,000 - $75,000
