Brief Description

We are seeking a results-driven Account Executive to drive sales of our cloud-based WaterMinds360 solution to water utilities.

This is a remote position; but candidates must live on the East Coast or Hybrid

The ideal candidate has experience in B2B SaaS sales, a strong understanding of the water industry, and a passion for technology that improves infrastructure and resource management. You will be responsible for prospecting, building relationships, and closing deals with municipal and private water utilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage potential customers, including municipal and private water utilities.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and discovery meetings to understand customer needs.
  • Build strong relationships with utility leaders, decision-makers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to tailor messaging and solutions to customer pain points.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM software and provide regular sales forecasts.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive solutions.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.

Qualifications

  • 8 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in industrial automation, SaaS or water utility technology.
  • Strong understanding of water utility operations, SCADA, industrial automation, asset management, or related fields is a plus.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage a long sales cycle with multiple stakeholders.
  • Comfortable with CRM tools, sales automation, and virtual presentation platforms.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for customer meetings, conferences, and industry events.
