Role Description The Janitor role at ESFM® USA is a full-time, on-site position located in Gregory, TX. The Janitor is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and orderly facilities, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting assigned areas such as offices, restrooms, common spaces, and corridors. Daily tasks include trash and recycling removal, restroom cleaning and restocking, surface disinfection, and periodic deep-cleaning of floors, windows, and fixtures in line with safety and sanitation standards. The role may involve operating basic cleaning equipment, replenishing supplies, and promptly reporting maintenance or safety issues. The Janitor interacts with building occupants and team members to support a positive workplace experience while consistently following ESFM safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform Janitorial Services and Housekeeping duties, including routine and deep-cleaning tasks in commercial or industrial facilities.
- Strong Customer Service skills to interact professionally with clients, building occupants, and team members, supporting a welcoming and respectful environment.
- Experience with Training or willingness to participate in safety, cleaning protocol, and equipment use training to maintain high service standards.
- Basic understanding of Service or Sales-oriented mindsets, focusing on quality, reliability, and responsiveness to client needs.
- Reliability in attendance, time management, and following cleaning schedules and safety procedures.
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods, and to use cleaning tools and equipment safely (PPE provided as required).
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping experience in corporate, industrial, or healthcare settings is an advantage.
