What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner position at Esencia beauty and wellness spa?
The Esencia Beauty and Wellness Medical Spa in Houston Heights is looking for a Nurse Practitioner who can provide medical care and administer aesthetic procedures to a wide variety of patients in a spa setting starting in late July. The Nurse Practitioner will work four to five days a week in the medical spa.
The Nurse Practitioner will perform new client consults for a variety of facial concerns to including:
Evaluate new clients seeking skin correction and procedures
Botox
Fillers
PDO thread lifts
Laser vein treatment (EVLA/EVLT)
Additional aesthetic procedures as we grow.
Qualifications and Required Licensure and Certifications:
o Master of Science Degree in an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
o National Certification by an Approved Board preferred
o Texas State license o BLS and ACLS certification
o 5 years’ nursing experience o Prefer cosmetic medical experience with Botox and dermal fillers
o Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
o Excellent follow-up and organizational skill
o Knowledge of and ability to apply medical principles, procedures and techniques
o Proficient in Electronic Health Records
The NP will be put on a hourly or salary pay with additional pay (not included in hourly or salary) from commission of anesthetic procedures

Pay: From $130,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
