What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diesel Mechanic position at ESCOT Bus Lines?
We are looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team on the afternoon/evening shift! You will be responsible for repairing various vehicles and transmission systems. You must have verifiable diesel experience. Must have a cdl or the ability to obtain one. Must have strong diagnostic abilities and a flexible schedule. Days off will be either Sunday/ Monday or Friday/Saturday.
Responsibilities:
- Repair buses, and other motor vehicles.
- Specialize in vehicle transmission systems.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance.
- Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components.
- Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a mechanic, 3 years.
- Knowledge of shop equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Deadline and detail-oriented.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule: 2nd shift.
