- THIS POSITION REQUIRES A 5-DAY PER WEEK COMMITMENT - This is not a traditional substitute position where you choose the days, sites and subjects/grades ** The District Substitute Teacher plays an essential role in supporting student learning by providing consistent, high-quality classroom instruction in the absence of the regular teacher. This position requires strong reliability and professionalism. District Substitutes will be assigned to work five days per week at the District’s discretion*. Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent attendance, broad availability, and the ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments. Flexibility is essential, as assignments will vary daily across all grades and subject areas. Strong classroom management skills are required to maintain a positive, productive learning atmosphere and ensure instructional continuity for all students. *The daily assignment will be selected by Human Resources and can be at any school site and any subject/grade.
