What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cluemaster - Escape the Room position at Escape the Room?
Escape the Room is a live, interactive puzzle full of riddles and clues that will challenge your mind in ways you’ve never experienced before. Located in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, we are looking for energetic, personable game enthusiasts to join our team of Cluemasters.
Cluemaster duties are as follows:
- Greeting guests and providing excellent customer service.
- Mastering every aspect of these challenging escape rooms.
- Observing and remotely guiding guests while they attempt to escape.
- Resetting games to their original state once a group has gone through.
- Explaining every element of the puzzles after a group has gone through.
At Escape the Room, we are looking for applicants with the following qualifications:
- Seek to provide an entertaining experience
- A customer service background
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Passion for games and puzzles.
- Problem solving skills.
- The ability to multi-task effectively while maintaining quality of work.
- Attention to detail
- Experience in theater or entertainment industry is a plus but not required
- Must be available to work nights and weekends especially on Friday and Saturdays
- 18 years of age or older
This is a part time position, applicants should be available at least 25-30 hours out of the week. Those looking to work more than 30 hours will often have the opportunity to do so.
Pay for this position is $13 an hour, with pay periods occurring biweekly.
Our work hours are
1:00pm - 9:00pm Monday through Thursday,
12:00pm - 11:00pm Friday and Saturday
12:00pm - 9:00pm Sunday
