Job Summary:
Escape Spa is seeking a friendly, organized, and versatile individual to join our team in the dual role of Wellness Advisor Prep Attendant. Responsibilities (Wellness Advisor):
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival and create a welcoming and professional first impression.
- Manage the spa's appointment schedule, including booking, confirming, and modifying reservations accurately and efficiently via phone, email, and in-person.
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries with courtesy and accurate information about spa services, pricing, and availability.
- Check guests in and out, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Process payments using electronic methods (credit/debit cards, gift cards, etc.) accurately.
- Assist guests with retail purchases, providing product knowledge and recommendations.
- Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally, escalating to management when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area and waiting lounge.
- Promote spa services and special offers to guests.
- Build rapport with guests and strive to create a personalized and memorable experience.
- Maintain guest records and ensure confidentiality.
Responsibilities (Prep Attendant):
- Assist guests with locker room orientation and provide any necessary assistance.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of locker rooms, ensuring they are well-stocked with towels, robes, slippers, and toiletries.
- Prepare and serve beverages, including pouring wine and other refreshments for guests in designated areas.
- Assist therapists with the turnover of treatment rooms, ensuring they are clean, restocked, and ready for the next guest.
- Assist the housekeeping team with laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and towels.
- Monitor and replenish supplies throughout the spa, including treatment rooms, locker rooms, restrooms, and relaxation areas.
- Keep all guest areas, including relaxation lounges and common spaces, neat, tidy, and well-presented.
- Assist with light cleaning tasks as needed to maintain the overall cleanliness of the spa.
- Report any maintenance issues or low stock levels to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist other spa team members with various tasks as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the spa.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a spa, hospitality, or retail environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and phone etiquette skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional and friendly demeanor.
- Experience processing electronic payments accurately.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive and takes initiative.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Must be at least 18 years of age to serve wine.
