Escape Island - escape rooms is looking for a Game Master for our Hilton Head Island, SC location!
Part Time and Full time during the Summer!! Week days, weekends, Some Holidays
Approxamently 20-30 hours a week
Hours are 12:00/12:30 to 7:00pm,8:00,9:00,10:00,10:30 depending on the day
Job Overview:
We are looking for a self-sufficient, independent, and trustworthy Game Host. This role is perfect for someone who loves interactive experiences, enjoys engaging with players, and can reliably manage operations without direct supervision. You will be responsible for running game sessions, ensuring a seamless customer experience, and handling basic facility tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Game Facilitation: Lead and manage immersive game experiences, ensuring players have an engaging and enjoyable time.
- Customer Interaction: Greet guests, explain rules, provide hints when necessary, and maintain a friendly atmosphere
- Technical Troubleshooting: Handle minor game setup issues, reset props, and report any technical problems.
- Safety & Security: Ensure all safety protocols are followed and that guests adhere to game rules.
- Problem-Solving: Address any issues that arise with professionalism and efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with strong attention to detail.
- Experience in gaming, entertainment, hospitality, or a similar customer-facing role is a plus.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for game setups and technical components.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and think on your feet.
