This is a "mandatory-testing" position that requires Drug Testing.


May assist, with supervision, in helping to maintain building and grounds maintenance.


Fuel and wash vehicles and clean buildings and grounds, as directed.


Performs preventative maintenance inspections and makes minor repairs.


Checks all fluids and maintains proper levels and checks tire pressures and adjusts accordingly.


Assists maintenance personnel and fulfill other duties, as directed.


TYPICAL QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualification Requirements:


Training and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)


Licenses and Certifications:

Valid Driver License

Commercial Driver License preferred


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics (KSAOs)

Scheduling Methods and Techniques
Applicable Compliance Guidelines
Basic Recordkeeping Practices

Maintaining Clean and Orderly Work Areas
Communication and Interpersonal Skills as Applied To Interaction With Coworkers, Supervisor, The General Public, Etc. Sufficient To Exchange or Convey Information and To Receive Work Direction

Learn How to Fuel Vehicles
Maintain Proper Tire Pressures and Fuel Levels

Emergency Management Responsibilities:
During emergency conditions, the incumbent of this position will automatically be considered an emergency service worker. This employee is subject to being called to work in the event of a
disaster, such as a hurricane, or other emergency situation and is expected to perform emergency service duties, as assigned.


Physical Requirements:
Positions in this class typically require climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.


Heavy Work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force
frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of forces constantly to move objects. Incumbents may be
subjected to fumes, odors, dusts, gases, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, and travel.
