Escalon Unified School District spans approximately 161 square miles and is located in southern San Joaquin County along the northern back of the Stanislaus River. The district was formed in 1967 from the unification of seven elementary districts and one secondary district. Job Summary
The District seeks an accomplished educational leader who possesses a deep understanding of TK-12 educational systems, instructional leadership, continuous improvement, and collaborative leadership. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to build strong relationships among employees, administrators, students, families, community partners, and the Board of Trustees while effectively implementing the Superintendent's vision for the District. The Assistant Superintendent fosters a culture of excellence through integrity, innovation, collaboration, and a commitment to equitable educational opportunities for all students. Requirements / Qualifications
Master's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Educational Administration, Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Leadership, Personnel Administration, Finance or a closely related field. Valid California Administrative Services Credential. Valid California Teaching Credential. Minimum of five (5) years of increasingly responsible educational leadership experience, including successful administrative or supervisory experience in a public school setting. District-level administrative leadership experience is preferred.
