Responsibilities
- Conduct tire installations, repairs, rotations, and balancing for commercial vehicles with precision and efficiency.
- Perform vehicle maintenance tasks including oil changes, alignments, brake repairs, and general mechanical inspections.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to diagnose automotive issues accurately using automotive diagnostics equipment.
- Assist with vehicle inspections to identify mechanical problems and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair findings clearly to customers.
- Support sales efforts by explaining service options and upselling additional maintenance or tire products when appropriate.
- Assist with heavy lifting and proper use of mechanical equipment to ensure safety standards are met at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and mechanical repairs.
- Prior mechanic or service technician experience working on commercial or passenger vehicles.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes, alignments, tire services, and general mechanical repairs.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment required for effective repairs.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to ensure positive customer interactions.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a busy work environment.
- Valid experience with dealership or automotive service environments is highly preferred.

Pay: $24.08 - $29.00 per hour
