Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a factory or manufacturing facility and possess strong mechanical and pneumatic knowledge. This role involves assembling machines, subassemblies, and components; operating hand and power tools; troubleshooting; inventory control; and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the production process. The Assembly Technician plays a vital part in maintaining efficient operations within our manufacturing environment, contributing to the production of high-quality products.
Duties
- Assemble products and components accurately according to specifications and build guides
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during assembly processes
- Use forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed to move materials within the facility
- Conduct quality checks to ensure assembled products meet company standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Assist with troubleshooting mechanical issues that may arise during assembly
- Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
Qualifications
- Prior experience in manufacturing, factory work, or warehouse environment preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with assembly line processes preferred
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and forklift operation preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
- Basic understanding of manufacturing procedures and quality control practices
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 60 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks
