In the typical workday as a Field Service Technician, you will provide direct support to customers by completing a variety of work, such as new installations, troubleshooting and repairing system issues, maintaining, and servicing Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS) at industrial facilities. As a Field Service Technician, you will:
- Install, service, repair, and maintain Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS) and process analytic systems for industrial customers at their facility
- Troubleshoot system issues on electronic, pneumatic, pumps, and other components for proper system operation
- Average 25% overnight travel to customer site upon completion of training
- Participate in the on-call rotation, which may occasionally include some weekends, will be required upon completion of training
- Provide technical support via telephone and the internet
- A.S. degree or military experience in electronics, instrumentation or equivalent experience
- 2 years of electronics experience
- Solid ability to troubleshoot systems with various test equipment
- Able to work in a physically demanding situations that may require you to lift 75 pounds unassisted, stand for extended periods, climb ladders, etc.
- Ability to climb and be comfortable operating at heights up to or excess of 200 feet
- Ability to work in enclosed spaces
- Flexible schedule
- Able to pass a background check and drug screen
