Description: BCBA - Wadsworth City Schools
Provides leadership in the development, implementation, and coordination of behavior interventions.
Qualifications:
Has completed a minimum of three years of successful experience in teaching or consulting.
Holds a master’s degree (preferred) in psychology, special education, human development, etc.
Is versed in multiple behavior management techniques.
Possesses experience in IEP and Behavior Plan implementation.
Completes documented evidence of a clear criminal record.
Holds or is eligible to obtain full ODE licensure and/or an Ohio aide permit.
Certificate (BCaBA or BCBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board required.
Possesses a valid Ohio driver’s license.
Essential Duties:
Coordinates direct training for school environment in behavior management.
Develops and provides training in data collection.
Conducts functional assessment or analysis of problem behavior.
Develops and trains staff to implement student intervention plans.
Provides outreach consultation and workshops to train teachers, school administration, agencies, service groups, and the general public.
Offers guidance to families regarding community-based services related to and available for students of special need.
Serves as an IEP team member when behavior consultation services are requested.
Days:184 Days / Year
Hours: 8 Hours Per Day
Salary: $60,000 - $63,000
